The Venice Public Health Committee was solved de facto on the 26th September 2010 along with the irrevocable dimissions of one of the four Members, Maurizio Santonastaso. Those dimissions anticipate by some months the official data of the Committee solving, a data that will be published on Venezia ObServer in the tenth instalment of "Strategia di Lavoro per la Repubblica".
In accord with that Strategy, I am doing significative changes to the Web structure to collect and diffuse data about Venice. A new Domain was aquired: http://veneziadoc.net, where will be soon available updates on the situation of Venice and tools of communication more simple and efficient than the previous Forum.
The site you are actually watching is preserved as consultable archive on http://www.veneziadoc.net/ourvenice/
Undone the Committee, the collecting of signatures on the Petition is deactivated.
As Committee, we whish to thank all the Citizens which have supported us and the Cause of Venice signing the Petition and cohoperating in these Forum, in Venezia ObServer and on the Territory. I hope that our communication will find a better environment in the aim and tools of veneziadoc.net Umberto Sartori
The publishing of the "Strategy of the Work for the Republic" elaborated on the data collected and organized by the Venice Public Health Committee, has begun on March 21st 2011. See it here.

Documentary for the "Report on Flood-tide in the Lagoon of Venice". December 2010.
A new heavy menace for Venice comes from the upheaval of the tide balancing, aside the already published one comeing from Sulphur and nitrates. The report by Sartori about the modification of the Lagoon tide balancing due to 50 years of senseless interventions has been published in ObServer.
Seen the danger of complete crumbling that is getting more and more evident in Venice, the Public Health Committee promotes a Petition to the Italian Prime Minister, for the emergency state to be declared in the city and to assign the full power, in order to save the city in extremis, to the Committee itself.
Mamy Madonna, save Venice! Only from You, in the Name of Your Son, we Venetians may hope Intercession and salvation, like so many times in the past Centuries.
Save us, Lady of the Sky, do not allow Venice to be cancelled! Help us to defend her, touch the heart of the hard-hearted, give Light and Grace! Wake up the ancient Spirit that leaded us to bring the Cross as far as China! Please listen to my heart, which is the heart of many, even if they are tired and frightened.
Venice is Your city, we always devoted it to You, do not make that she can be taken from our hands and surrended to the darkness.
Give us the strenght to fight, keep Your loving Hand on our head, because without You we are lost, and lost would be Venice.
Do not allow this to happen.
