Lo scappamento costruito da A. Gorla (1998), nel sistema a caviglie a riposo, nonostante il dichiarato intento di riportare l'orologio allo stato ferraciniano (1757), che comprendeva invece uno scappamento di tipo Graham. Si noti la fattura approssimativa dell'àncora, per le cui palette non è stata realizzata neppure la regolazione micrometrica di divaricazione presente nello scappamento originale: ne svolge la funzione una semplice piastrina di raccordo avvitata sui bracci dell'àncora (A). Le palette stesse (B) appaiono assai rozze rispetto a quelle dell'ancora originale, come le possiamo vedere nella foto precedente. Eppure, secondo Brusa, questo intervento avrebbe portato anche ad un sensibile "miglioramento tecnico" |
The escapement built by A. Gorla in 1998, using the sleeper screw system, notwithstanding the declared aim to bring the clock back to the Ferracina's status (1757); that mechanism was having a Graham type of escapement, instead. Please note the coarse craftmanship of the anchor, whose guide blades do not have a micrometric regulation as the one in the previous photo, substituted by the simple bolt you can see in A. The guide blades themselves look very rough, compared to the ones of the original anchor. Still, listening at Mr. Brusa, this work would have brought to an appreciable "technical enhancement". |
